Grow kits are completely legal in the Netherlands. They contain mycelium and are not subject to the Opium Act as long as no mushrooms have been grown. Therefore, they can, in principle, be sold throughout the EU. Outside the EU, legislation varies considerably; some countries do not permit import. Always check the regulations in your country yourself; we are not responsible for seizures by customs.

We ship all products in neutral, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents or our company type. The package only displays the shipping address and sender's name, with no product information. Inside, the order is additionally protected with padding.

Netherlands: usually 1–2 working days after receipt of payment.
EU countries: usually 3–7 working days depending on the country and the postal or courier service.

Please note that orders shipped abroad may sometimes be delayed due to customs checks.

In the Netherlands, psilocybin truffles (sclerotia) are completely legal. They are not covered by the 2008 magic mushroom ban because they grow differently (underground) and are not explicitly listed in Schedule I of the Opium Act.

They are also classified as food and are subject to the supervision of the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) – the same agency that also inspects regular food products. This means they meet all legal requirements for production and sale within the Netherlands.

Within the EU the following applies: mutual recognition (Regulation 2019/515): products that are legal in one Member State may in principle also be offered for sale in other Member States.

Most people take 0.2 to 1 gram of fresh truffles (or 0.02–0.1 g dried). Always start low and increase if necessary, as sensitivity varies from person to person.

Commonly used schemes include:

We advise against combining alcohol with microdosing. It can disrupt the balance and mask the effects.

Yes, that's possible. Many people experience increased body awareness and focus during exercise. Start with a low dose and see what feels right.

We recommend that do not drive when microdosing for the first few timesIf you are sure you will not experience any noticeable effects, driving is usually not a problem.

This could be due to timing or individual reactions. Try taking it at a different time, such as in the morning.

Take the dose after a light meal and drink plenty of water. Ginger tea may help. Keep the dose low to allow your body to adjust.

After several weeks of microdosing, a break of at least 2-4 weeks is recommended. This maintains effectiveness and resets your tolerance.

No. Magic truffles do not cause physical addiction. However, we do recommend taking regular breaks.

With a normal dose, effects typically begin 30–60 minutes after ingestion, peaking after 2–3 hours. The total experience often lasts 6–8 hours. With microdosing, the effects are much more subtle and usually only noticeable as a slight improvement in focus, creativity, and mood, without any visual changes.

Research into the long-term effects of microdosing is still in its infancy. Most users report positive experiences, such as improved mood and focus. However, it's important to always take breaks (for example, according to the Fadiman or Stamets schedule) to prevent tolerance. Microdosing is not recommended for people with mental health conditions or in combination with certain medications.

We strongly advise against this. Alcohol and other drugs can unpredictably intensify or weaken the effects, making the experience less pleasant or even dangerous. For a safe and clear experience, it is recommended to always use truffles on their own.

European legislation: mutual recognition of goods

Psilocybin truffles are completely legal in the Netherlands. Thanks to the EU Directive on Mutual Recognition of Goods, products legally traded in one EU Member State may also be offered and sold in other Member States—even if they are not explicitly permitted there. This makes it possible to ship legitimately from the Netherlands to other EU countries.

Safety and assessment by RIVM

The effectiveness and safety of psilocybin truffles have been extensively studied by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). Their findings show that the risk of harm is very limited when used responsibly. Because the products are legal in the Netherlands and demonstrably considered safe, customs in other EU countries generally have no grounds to refuse or confiscate shipments from the Netherlands.

Store them in the refrigerator (2–4°C). They usually stay fresh for 2–3 months. Freezing is possible, but this may affect the texture.
